This notice applies when you visit uninfluence.me, join our email list, apply to test the app or use the UNINFLUENCE.ME mobile application. UNINFLUENCE.ME is a trading brand operated by Metamotiv Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17051069. Metamotiv Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. What we collect

We may collect your email address, sign-up preferences, beta-testing answers, support messages, app account information, subscription status, platform and app version, and limited product analytics such as whether a pause was started or completed. We do not need the contents of your shopping basket to provide the core service.

Buying pauses and Screen Time

Where possible, pause selections and Screen Time choices remain on your device. Apple’s Family Controls framework protects the identity of selected apps using privacy-preserving tokens. UNINFLUENCE.ME does not receive your Apple ID password, payment-card details or a readable list of everything installed on your phone.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, manage beta access and subscriptions, respond to support requests, understand whether the product is useful, prevent misuse and send updates you have requested. Our lawful bases may include performance of a contract, consent and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service.

Payments and service providers

Apple processes iOS subscription payments and provides us with transaction and entitlement information rather than your full card details. We may use carefully selected hosting, analytics, email and support providers acting under our instructions. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and your rights

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations or resolving disputes. UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Email yasemin@uninfluence.me to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Children, security and changes

The service is intended for people aged 16 or over. We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. Material changes will be shown on this page with a revised date.
